Beyond Travel, Built on Trust
Some journeys begin with a destination. Ours begin with trust.
Bharathi Tourism Development Co-Operative Ltd (BTDC) was formed in 2004 under the guidance of Sri Sathish Marathe, founder member of Sahakar Bharathi, and Sri Konkod Padmanabh, National Executive Committee member of Sahakar Bharathi. The vision was to create a Tourism Co-operative Society with a focus on meaningful, community-driven travel. BTDC operates across Goa, Karnataka, and Kerala, providing pilgrimage tours, educational tours, cultural trips, and group travel services.
BTDC also focuses on co-operative learning and knowledge-building. We conduct study tours for Co-operative Directors, Staff, and Members, visiting institutions such as AMUL, IFFCO, CAMPCO, TSS, KMF, and PACS to enhance practical understanding of successful co-operative models. In addition, BTDC organizes affordable pilgrimage tours across India, covering spiritual destinations including Kashi, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Goa, Madurai, Rameshwaram, Kanyakumari, Thiruvananthapuram, and many more, ensuring meaningful and budget-friendly travel experiences for all.
Our Vision
To become India's most trusted cooperative travel platform, fostering meaningful journeys that connect people, culture, and communities through shared values of trust and service.
Our Mission
To provide affordable, authentic, and well-organized travel experiences—whether for pilgrimage, education, or exploration—while promoting cooperative principles and community welfare.
Our Values
Trust, Transparency, Affordability, Community-first approach, and Cooperative Spirit — the core that defines every journey we craft.
At Bharathi Tourism, we don't just plan trips—we build journeys the way co-operatives build trust: slowly, carefully and always with people at the center.
